Especially when they're super easy to make happen.
For example, at Walmart this week I got a wreath and a candle for all of the windows for the front of our house and last night at Costco I got cute ribbon to put a bow on the wreaths with.
Oh how I love Christmas decorating. I basically fantasize about decorating my house everyday and no lie; I resist the urge to start with "just a few things" pretty much everyday. Shawn has to humor me by walking down the Christmas isle in every store we go in, even if its just for a loaf of bread.
I can't wait to get a big fat tree and trim the crap out of it!!!

Yay, I'm glad I'm not the only one! I went to Target yesterday two times just to look at the christmas decorations. I'm totally thinking since Thanksgiving is so late this year I should just start decorating next Saturday anyways. We'll see. Good luck with your decorating and take lots of pictures to put up.
I wish I had a little bit of your enthusiasm for decorating. I completely missed that boat. I'm excited that hopefully we'll be gone for Christmas so I don't have to decorate. If you were here, I could hire you to decorate for me, but then you'd have to clean it up too. Can't wait to see pics of your Christmas wonderland!
Please! Your mother already has one tree up. I've spent all afternoon working on Christmas cards. It's in our genes! Take lots of pictures of your house as you decorate it. It will be so cute.
Amber stole my comment. It is in our genes. I might have already purchased a new Nativity set and had it out to play. Our mother put a tree in every room when we were growing up, for crying out loud!
Strange, BUT true!! A few of my neighboors have started to decorate!!! Trees are up and some Christmas lights....I asked them about this and they said it was very common in MD and TN were they used to live,.....in fact, they keep the deco up 11/1-1/31! I like this tradition....who says it is too early to decorate? Go for it!
Now that Christmas decorations are up in stores so early, it's kinda hard not to get excited about the whole season.
i seriously cant wait to start decorating for christmas too!! last year blake and i went to target the day after christmas and bought all this stuff for 1/2 off and i cant wait to set it all up!! blake is making me wait til after thanksgiving tho.. haha
Mendy stole my comment about Amber stealing her comment. It's definitely in the genes! And apparently can not be married into-- I still have yet to take down my Halloween stuff.
I am sooo excited to decorate my own house this year too!
Decorating for Holidays is so fun! To bad I don't really have any but you have to start somewhere, right?
