And Baby Makes Three

Yep, I'm pregnant. The due date is October 1st but I still haven't seen a doctor so I guess it could change a little. October first is what the women in the Dr's office told me on the phone so we're going with that for now. We FINALLY see the Dr. on April 1st but I'm pretty sure there's really one in there because I feel like CRAP!

Don't get me wrong, I know people have it a lot worse than I do but I think I'm just a big sissy. I hate feeling nauseous all the time and I HATE throwing up.

I really am excited to have a baby, I just don't feel good that's all.

It is really fun to read about the development though, for example right now the baby is the size of a lime.

the word is finally out! hurray! congratulations--i'm sorry you feel so crumby though. try saltine crackers BEFORE getting out of bed in the morning. one of my friends that's what got her up each day.
be sure to post "belly" pictures once the baby starts to get bigger, kay?

We are so excited for #9. Feeling lousy is part of the deal, unfortunately. Hopefully you are just about over it. Plain baked potatoes are great.(now you can nuke them) I really got tired of crackers and ginger ale. Hang in there~it will all be worth it! Love you Three.

congrats whit!!! how fun...i'm sympathizing with you i hate the first three months..or when i was prego with emmy 9 months....of pregnancy. get some ginger candy or jolly ranchers helped too. there is a med called emitrol (over the counter at walmart) that you can take it's a liquid. it helps take away the nausea. sometimes. How exciting. I'm not looking forward to it in December but hey it IS TOTALLY worth it. hugs and loves coming your way. congrats!!!!

Aaaaaaw. Geez, Whitney, I remember when YOU were the size of a lime in your mom's belly and my dad would see her and say "Sandi, you're back to normal, I see!" when she was pregnant...I'm so happy for you! You get to change your "about me" profile information to include "mother". You'll be one of the best.

I got sick of being sick too but it is soo worth it, I got tires of lots of foods that I threw up I still dislike Chicken Noodle soup thanks to my pregnancies, hopefully it will all be over soon and you will forget all about it and you'll move onto the fun time being pregnant. How exciting...I want one too....but I don't want one yet, I want to get married first...lol

See you soon. Hope you get to feeling better.

So fun! I remember tracking how big the baby was and trying to justify my weight gain. I told Chris because he has such thick eyebrows, that the baby's eyebrows probably weighed 10 pounds each and that's why I was weighing so much!
Congrats! Your sister, who is already envious of your chest, is going to be super jealous as they get even bigger!

Great, so you can stop working now, right! Good luck with staying happy while sick. Nothing actually works, so you can pretty much ignore all the advice you get. But, my advice, is to eat a little all the time. Even if you don't feel like eating. Just keep eating little bits all the time. The babies are really worth the crap. I promise.

holy crap - congrats!!!!!!!

and they can usually see what the baby is around 14 weeks - no lie. but most offices won't do it until your 20 wk ultrasound.

okay - really - congrats!!!

Yeah for baby. My best advice. Sleep through the whole first trimester and make sure it is close to the bathroom and even closer the third! I am extremely excited for!

No wonder your lovely lady lumps looked so volumous in the Europe pictures!! I'm happy for you...uummm nausea tips: bananas, watermelon, soft pretzels, and powerade is what my Thomas is made up of and my Jack was all phenegren (anti-puking sedative!)
